ABOUT BRANDY

Strength in Support

I was born and raised in Bremerton, Washington where I currently raise my 5 children. I am a typical Pacific Northwest girl – I love saltwater, evergreen trees, rain, mountains, and soaking up the occasional ray of Washington sunshine. Most of my time is spent attending clinic and births, being a football and cheer mom, cooking delicious food, and chasing after my energetic little ones.

I became a doula in 2002 after training with Seattle Midwifery School. Pregnancy, birth, babies, and breastfeeding have always been a special passion of mine, so in 2012 I decided to make my passion a career, and started serving as a doula. In 2015 I started my midwifery education through Midwives College of Utah and finished requirements for graduation in early 2019. I am currently accepting clients  with Gig Harbor Midwifery. I also work closely with Fly True Midwifery, assisting at births and working in the clinic office.

I have worked with multiple midwifery practices in the community, and even did a summer internship in Utah in 2018! I have extensive experience serving upwards of 200 birthing families in all types of settings. I enjoy facilitating Sacred Pregnancy and Sacred Postpartum workshops and retreats. AND…I have encapsulated over 500 placentas since 2012! I love providing care for growing families. This calling fulfills my heart more than words can express.

I have always been inspired by the strength of women and the miracle of birth. This is why I’m a professional Doula and Midwife. I proudly serve women and families throughout Kitsap, Pierce, and Mason counties. My education and experience enables me to provide unbiased information and emotional support that benefits women and families during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

Every birthing person deserves to have someone there to guide and assist them in making educated choices about their pregnancy, and remind them that they can trust in the strength of their bodies during this time.
